Creating intuitive designs that make your users’ journey through the interface seamless, natural, and impressive. Have a project in mind? Want to know more about me or what I do? Just drop me line and let’s connect.
Who am I, how did I become a designer and get to where I am now? Here are a few facts about me.
My formal design education started when I was 15-years old at School of Applied Arts (4 years), continued at College of Fine Arts (4 years). After a short break I finished College for Creative Marketing (3 years) and then went for masters degree 📖 (2 years) at the same college but never graduated.
My non-formal education is still ongoing. I’ve attended and finished a vast number of seminars, webinars, online and offline courses, walkthroughs, tutorials and online how-to guides 🛠. I’m still thrilled to learn anything new which will sharpen and widen my skillset.
My name is Neno Papic and I’m from Zagreb, Croatia, EU. I’m a freelance designer and frontend developer. I love design, architecture, nature, animals, music, books and travel (these days not so much). I enjoy chess, all things astrophysics and above all playing with my two sons; Ian (8) and Kai (2).
My primary field of interest is UI design, but many years of hanging around developers helped me pick up on their knowledge and achieve pixel-perfect execution. Yes, I’m that guy. Pixel-perfect implementation of any concept is important to me, which means that HTML, CSS, PHP, and especially WordPress quickly became an integral part of my skillset. In fact, I enjoy coding almost as much as I enjoy the design process.
On top of being a UI designer, I also enjoy being involved in other types of design projects, such as; UX design, information architecture, software design, and graphic design. All of this keeps me motivated and sharp, expanding my skillset, and helps me stay on top of my game.
I have over 20 years of experience in the design industry, having successfully completed 400+ projects for 100+ different clients scattered across 4 continents.
Some of my clients include: T-Mobile, Microsoft, RTL Television, Black & Decker, Rimac Automobili, Republic of Croatia, Gustav Gerig, Corel Magazine, Lacoste, Martens, Vienna Insurance Group, Estée Lauder, Fiat, Philip Morris, Opel and many others.
I pride myself on being equally dedicated to every single project, no matter how big or small.
While pay per project is always a possible option, I do prefer hourly rates. My hourly fee starts at $60 per hour for design work or $65 per hour for frontend work. Feel free to send me a brief so we can discuss the details.
Discounts may apply depending on the complexity and duration of the project.
